Wanderlust/The Final Ascention

The characters of the first two books have returned for Danother saga, this time set in ancient Mesopotamia during a time of global upheaval. Amenti has long since disappeared, a victim of the elements, and the war is on to reclaim the once colony-now great nation- of Egypt.

Arrosiah, now an immortal, and his Queen Mayden, rule Uruvisala, the great city flourishing in the ancient river valley. Uruk is the mecca for the survivors of Amenti and their offspring, holding onto their power through the Crystal Skulls.  As an emissary is sent from Egypt to help them during a time of crisis, Xandra, now reincarnated as Lyla of Egypt, meets again with Arrosiah and complicates his heart and politics between her country and his. She is what is termed a “half-breed”, not born of two Amentian parents, and therefore subjugated to the caste system of Urvisala.

Kael, once Sevyn, also returns to the tale as the Midnight Reaper, the king of a doppelganger army who reclaims those of the bloodline and brings them back to Uruk. When he finds Dendara, the keeper of the Rose Quartz Skull, (Rowan reincarnated), he returns her to the City where matters are complicated further.

This is a story of anger and love, greed and the eternal hope for a better tomorrow, as the displaced Amentians vie to dominate the world once again.

This is the final tale in the Chronicles. Set in the early twenty first century, all of the characters return for a final call to set the record straight and help mankind transition as the ancient prophecy comes to fruition. This is the lovers’ final chance to get things right before the portal opens and the world as it exists ceases to be.
